I love this park. There are a ton of trees. Some are old and provide full shade, while others are still babies. The benches near the playgrounds are not shaded at all, so I recommend bringing a blanket or chair so you can sit under the trees during hot days.There are 2 playgrounds. Lots for the kids to play…

First I do want to say that the staff here is friendly and they work very hard at keeping the place clean. (If it weren’t for them I’d do fewer stars.) …Especially considering all of the kids running amuck completely unrestrained on the weekend, throwing their trash and Gummi Bears everywhere– that says a lot…
