i had the lamb and chicken kabob over rice… AMAZINGGGG…some of the most simple best food ive ever eaten in my life all it is is meat and rice but it is just rediculously delicious
I was in Turlock for a month in 2011, Sept/Oct, for the first time since childhood. I visited the market several times ..great meats and cold cuts, a little of everything, and friendly staff. It was like a trip back to my childhood.
I just found out it closed in 2019; so sorry I didn't get to go back there…
Blansh is the only Middle Eastern place in Turlock (and surrounding towns) that has joojeh kebabs that are very lemony. Really nice, but older store. Great service, and selection. Freshest produce around. Awesome bakery, and deli.A little pricy, but not real bad. Friendly checkers, and most employees make eye contact and offer assistance.
Best place to get groceries at a generous price. I shop here after eating at Chong’s next door. It’s important to grocery shop after eating rather than before. Doing so will help in lowering cost.The workers keep the produce and shelf space in tip top shape. This is my go-to grocery store when I’m in turlock.
