Lincoln Park

Columbine Park is a nice park located right off of North Avenue in Grand Junction.I played softball here on the Adult Men’s Wednesday league through the City of Grand Junction. Columbine Park

I like the great .7 mile walking trail around the perimeter of the park. The large lawn in the middle is wide open with trees skirting the edge. There are two shelters with picnic tables and charcoal grills. There is a huge playground area for the kiddos with slides and the like.

Sherwood Park

Dog park is at the Northside of the park. Mostly dirt with a separate area for small dogs. A third area has a little creek or drainage area with water… not getting much use in November. One complaint is that there was a lot of abandoned dog poo. One suggestion would be to add a dog poo bag dispenser and trash…
