Beaches in St. Augustine, FL

Stunning beach. And this is coming from someone who is an intense fan of Florida Panhandle beaches (a Panhandler?). I wasn’t too amazed with Daytona Beach, but Matanzas (Spanish for «massacre,» yikes) Beach north of DB is so low-key and lovely that you won’t regret not being at a big name beach. Not quite…

Matanzas Beach

This beach is beautiful! We found a parking lot off the main area and had a LONGG bridge to the beach and it was beautiful! The area was secluded also. The walk bridge had some interesting spiders and bugs. It’s a little scary but once you make it to the beach, it’s perfect.

Crescent Beach

Beautiful pier. The sand is actually very soft, comfortable to sit. The shops in the area are nice and the facilities are pretty nice as well, but we were actually here for the NYE beach bash so there was tons if extra stuff going on.
