Stopped in for a beer during the Morton BBQ Throwdown. Mostly locals drinking but very friendly. Drink prices are very cheap. Draft were $ 1.50 which I think is a Saturday special. It’s about a block from the main festival grounds and we’ll be back if we come to the Pumpkin Festival.

Nothing fancy, just the best fried chicken in a 20 mile radius.VERY inexpensive, too, as the wife and I dined for less than $ 20 including tip.Out of the way, you wont stumble on this place by accident.a hidden gem in Morton

Mullen’s Irish Pub

A hole in the wall type of bar. Divvy, quiet and charming, very cheap beer and nice ambient. Only food available is chips and frozen pizza. But hey, you got good beer, everything else just does not matter. This is a cash only bar, but don’t worry, they got a ATM there.
