This is a great public Wildlife Management Area that is just a little over an hour’s drive from Lexington. They allow guns in this WMA (not all do). We have been dove hunting here a few times. T.N. Sullivan Wildlife Management Area

Always a fan of a place to escape and get into nature. This sanctuary is tucked away in a beautiful corner of Kentucky.

Clyde E Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary and Audubon Center

A good place to run, with some small hills. The park website says that the jogging path is 2 miles long, but I have found it to be closer to 1.65 using my GPS.
