The Chatham Lighthouse

This is a nice beach, mainly because of its location. At least where we hung out there are no amenities — other than back up on the streets of Chatham. The water is cold, that’s okay, it’s close to some seals and the lighthouse. The water drops off fast in some spots too.

Harding’s Beach

This is a pretty small beach and Cockle Cove is towards the end of it. I would recommend Ridgevale or Harding’s, but if you can’t get parking Cockle Cove is worth ashot.You can walk up Cockle Cove to Ridgevale. Cockle Cove Beach

I was really disappointed after seeing the 5 star reviews. It has rocky, seaweed ridden water. While there are some small shells, there are no crabs /critters for little kids.
