Vespucci’s Pizza & Sandwiches

We stopped in for sandwiches to go. We ordered 2 large meatball, a ham Italian, and grabbed a couple of whoopie pies.The staff was friendly, the wait reasonable. Everything was delicious. The bread was fresh, the meatballs well sauced. Their whoopie pies are some of the best I’ve tried.

They have gluten free pizzas which are, okay, I’ve had the other food there before I had to go gluten free and it was also okay. The staff is very nice.

I’m giving it 2 stars because the people who work there were friendly. But the two subs we ordered… there was one slice of meat and one slice of cheese on each sandwich. In fact there was more onion than meat on both subs. I’m not kidding. And these were their signature sandwiches! Maybe the pizza is good?

Sandwiches are alright but the employees ruin this place for me. Every employee seems to be very rude and acts like they hate their job. The only decent person I’ve dealt with when ordering was the manager himself. Haven’t returned for a few months. May give the auburn location a chance
