Al-Bos Bakery & Meat Market

This was the 2nd best Italian place in Grand Rapids until Trattoria shut down and Bombay unfortunately expanded into their space.That leaves Osteria as the now #1 Italian joint in town. It’s not bad, in fact it’s pretty good. Just isn’t as good as you want it to be.

Osteria Rossa

This place has good food and okay service. It’s not quite as good as the one in Allendale but their hours definitely make up for it. If you’re used to real Coney Islands of the east side, this will not fill that desire but it will come closer than anything else in Grand Rapids.

Usually good. Tonight it’s mediocre and filthy bathroom. Cheesy mashed potatoes were instant and dry couldn’t eat them. About 6 waitresses on staff and and very few customers and took 10 minutes to get the attention of on to be seated. My waitress was nice and attentive.
