I kept driving by Chompos and wondered if it was any good. Surprise, it was! I got Carne Asada fries. My order took 2 minutes, tops, to make it was really quick. Plus while you wait at the tables, they bring you chips with red salsa. The kitchen is open and visible from where the tables are. It’s a weird design…

how can u go wrong here. great food, large portions and small $$.service is good and friendly. Lots of regulars have been coming here for years. white board specials and about 8 or so $ 3.25 — $ 4.00 breakfast specials. check the pics for what we had.

Maverick Truck Stop

Nice quiet bar. Happy hour drinks were pretty good. Wings weren’t too big but they were okay. Fries were hot and goodService pretty average as there was only 1 person working the bar. We also played pool for a bit.Overall a pleasant experience and since it’s just around the corner we will be returning.
