Classic dive bar. I hope this place stays around for 1,000 years. The evillage and alphabet city aren’t what they once were, but Manitoba’s soldiers on. Also, they’ve got air hockey in the basement. How cool is that! Solid jukebox selections. If you don’t love this place, you don’t love NYC.

KO: KIM:BOMISTRAL PISCO NOBEL, AMARO MONTENEGRO, STRAWBERRIES, LIME, ANGOSTURA BITTERS, EGG WHITES — decent, but nothing that wowed my palate.The place was crazy loud, giving it was a Saturday night.So J said let’s go somewhere else, where there wasn’t a birthday celebration party going on.

I can only speak to the daytime coffeeshop, but it’s a lovely, little spot. There’s a back area that’s really cute and has comfy couches, so don’t forget to check that out. Best of all is that heir iced coffee is good and strong, even after the ice cubes have melted quite a bit!

In a city littered with bars and a sometimes pretentious crowd. where does one go for a decent pint without any social pressures.Try drop-off service — One size does not fit all when it comes to bars and so this might not be your type of place but they have a great selection on tap and the prices are cheap…

Cool place to hang and get a drink. Old school motif with bits of modernisim creeping in. Highlight is an old, film based, photobooth in the bar. Fun for the adventurous.

Cheap, filling, and tasty Tex Mex in the space Idle Hands bar used to be.Upstairs dining area is totally repainted and redecorated in a bright cheerful décor but we still recognized the layout of a bar we had some good times at. Oh, the memories! Idle Hands had a solid beer and whiskey list, rock and metal bar…
