Why do all the crème pastries taste like lemon? Ricotta zeppole, cheesecake, ricotta pie all taste like lemon. My family is Italian true immigrant Italian and there is no strong lemon flavor in those pastries.The Italian bread is good. That’s it. Anything else I’ve tried I’ve regretted eating.
