This place is still awesome 6 years later. And now they have amazing food as well! Really good (and cheap) burgers and hot dogs. And they do some amazing toppings (nutella!). Still a great friendly crowd and one of the best tap beer selections in the city.

As much as I like The Avery and Ogie’s — as far as easy to walk to bars in the West End of Providence go – E&O is the best. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great people.

The drinks are cheap, the company is great and sometimes they have fun theme nights that they post about on the Facebook page! It’s really geared towards brown grad/Med/senior students so don’t expect to find too many locals hanging out here, though all are certainly welcome (for a small cover fee)

Grad Center Bar

This place is through and through a dive bar, but in a fun way. The place is frequented by some local Rhody characters giving it an interesting vibe.

Cool place. Pretty clean for a dive bar. $ 2.50 draft PBR. Food served after 5pm (comes from a kitchen next door). Limited menu but pretty tasty and cheap. Worth a visit for sure. ..
