Visited the park on a sunny day in October, The movie at the visitor’s center was very helpful if you do not know about the revolutionary was battle that took place here. I then did the 1.5 mile walk around the battlefield site. Be prepared to walk up the mountain but the walk really showed what the soldiers…

Kings Mountain National Military Park

This park used to be a top notch place. Not anymore.There is a fee to enter. Being a taxpayer, that irks me. At one time, they had a small nature museum, miniature golf, swimming and grills at every camp site and free grills at the picnic areas.Why don’t they have those things still? There is a bath house down…
