Do yourself a favor if you are in SW Virginia or NW Tennessee and stop here for a picnic lunch. We had the best time.In April there are giant butterflies (which the dog had fun chasing). The beach is nice (but softly rocky) and there are tables, bathrooms, and a nice grassy area.

Whitetop is more than a park. I guess you could say it’s a mini outdoor sports complex with the benefits of a park.Baseball/Softball fields, soccer fields, and playground area.
