Gateway Newstand

I don’t like parking in this area of Clarendon, so if I need a bookstore I’ll opt Potomac Yards. If I’m in this area for another reason (like enjoying delicious ice cream across the street), I’ll pop in here to see what’s up. At first glance it seems small, but there’s a lot of space upstairs.

Barnes & Noble

They’re a newsstand like you’d find in an airport but with slightly better prices. Decent selection of books, magazines, snacks, and lots of DC souvenirs. They sell lottery tickets too which means Powerball has been keeping them packed lately.

One Stop News

A small shop on the Crystal Mall. It’s a good place to buy lottery tix during the week. They are closed weekends. Some drinks, snacks, newspapers, lot of magazine. Some touristy gift.Owners/employees are very stoic, not at all friendly to customers.
