Complete collapse. They lost my order, then git really rude and told me that he wasn’t the one which places the orders??? Then, forgot both ordersof fries and… oh yea it gets better, when I asked to see the manager, an employee scribbled a name and phone number on the back of a piece of paper. When I got home and phoned the manager, he said they had given me his home phone number. But wait. It gets better, but I won’t tell you what the manager said yo me. All I can tell you is that I’ll just bet the value of this particular franchises price is dropping like a rock. Yea, I’m loving it alright. You can’t pay for humour this good.

HORRIBLE experience at this location. On our way back from Kelowna, we decided to pull off the highway for lunch. I’d been craving a McRib something fierce. It was around 1pm on Sunday when we walked into the chaotic McDonald’s. You could instantly tell something was off. We waited a few minutes in line to place our order and it became noticeable a new person was being trained on the register. Kinda slow, but no biggie. Then I started to hear the signs of trouble. «Sorry, we can’t make shakes, our ice cream machine doesn’t work.». Then, a customer came up the counter to let them know the ice tea wasn’t working to which the employee responded, «Sorry, we’re out of ice tea.» We stood there wondering what we had stepped into … and then the guy in front of us was told, «Sorry sir, we’re out of buffalo sauce». WTF? So, we tentatively(and mistakenly) placed our order(1 McRib combo, 1 fish combo). Our tray was pushed aside into a sea of pending orders on the counter and we waited. In the meantime, an employee fulfilling orders seemed annoyed by the new coworker running the register. She packed a to go bag with an order but no one came to pick it up, so she asked her coworker at the register who had ordered it. She said, «oh, that guy has already left.» So, into the trash bin it went. We continued to wait and wait and wait. Then, we noticed people who came after us were receiving their food. Ugh. So, we inquired what had happened to our order which NOONE knew where it went. I picked up the receipt on our tray and said, «the order slip is right here — I have proof». The employee seemed annoyed that we wanted our food and then went off to throw it into a bag and said, «here you go». Smartly, we opened the bag to discover it was missing an order of fries. So, once again we inquired about the rest of our order and the employee said, «oh, we’re making a new batch it’ll be a few minutes». Finally, after like 20 minutes we get our ‘fast food’ and sat down at a table. I opened my sandwich box and the McRib looked a murder scene … sauce everywhere, but I hungrily ate it. Of course, it was missing pickles … but I can only assume they were out of pickles too. I didn’t have the energy to pursue it. Seriously, Abbotsford McDonald’s — WTF? Horrible customer service. Horrible operations. Will avoid this location in the future.
