Amazing value for the price! Came here for the all you can eat lunch, and left full and satisfied. I highly recommend any of the cones– the scallop in particular. Everything was delicious. Sashimi is great, BC roll was a personal favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Wish I had something like this nearby!

***Bait and switch or false advertising*** call it what you want… was driving by with a buddy and decided let’s have AYCE sushi for 14.95…NOT Apparently old sign and it’s not been taken down(it’s two zap straps holding a 20′ banner) — well I’ve seen this sign up for a long time — how long have they been pulling this??? Now after three prices given depending on what you want time of day etc you get your AYCE price… The day I was there it was $ 21.95 maybe $ 23 can’t remember now and doesn’t matter as I won’t go back… and not just b/c of the scam The wait staff were non existent at best and once you do get their attention you get one sheet to fill out an order — you can’t get two sheets to pre order… So order lots Not to mention the attitude, I can forgive policies the owners make, and the staff are following the rules — but this is not the case — and if you care to call them out on it you get the disingenuous kindness poured all over the table… Come on really… Now the food — the only reason the review got a second star — the best description I could use is meh… It wasn’t terrible but there was nothing worth mentioning either For $ 60 for 2 w/zero alcohol… Roll by this place…

The reason I am writing and leaving a 1 star is that I could not find a no star rating… I entered to take a break from a howling wind storm… and decided to do an all you can . My first order was a large kirin a roll and miso… I finished both papers… although small and was well into the beer by the time the first small order came out… I was not left with sheets to order the second order… but after realizing this… it took a great amount of attention to get the waitress attention all though she was keeping busy. (Does cleaning a table have more preference than getting a refill on all you can eat?) I then spoke to management and expressed concern… and to me the problem comes from management down… understaffing…but please let your staff know… to look at the people in your restaurant… it your busy… and knowledge. .instead of ignoring… and accnowledge and hope u catch up… I would never come back… nor recommend others to based on the service I saw… Food was ok. Nothing to counterbalance the lack of service… Décor…2 out of10. .

As far as AYCE restaurants are concerned, it’s ok. The quality of the food is ok. Nothing above par. I’ll come back because the service is good. That’s part of a winning formula. Very attentive staff. Mind you it wasn’t that busy when I came in at 12 noon. The delivery of the items are speedy when I write down the number of items I want on the AYCE list. I want you to know that I did of course order another round of prawn and veggie tempura and I was a little disappointed to find that they reduced the number of pieces of tempura by a couple. I don’t quite know why or may be because that’s what they do in AYCE places. But that shouldn’t be the case. They don’t give you replacement AYCE lists once you have used them up. Work on that people. I don’t want to have to ask you again and again. For the value for your dollar I’d say that it could be better if the food quality was better. But once again the servers are very nice and professional. Thank you.

Very disappointng. Only thing good is the chicken and beef teriyaki. Other items are unedible. Udon soup and wonton soup don’t taste like normal Udon or wonton soups in Japanese restaurant s. They use the same goyza in wonton soup as those fried. Hand rolls or cones were all rice with a small drop of fish at the top.

Sushi here is great and the chefs know their food. Prices match the calibre of food that you receive if you order individual items from the menu. All you can eat is still the best deal in town for lunch /supper. Be sure to order in increments as excess and wasted food is extra. If you need to order more do not hesitate to call your server over! Delicious sushi and great service.

Used to go here for sushi a lot before it changed to Midori Sushi and for a while after. The quality and cleanliness had gone downhill a bit(floor was always sticky) so we’ve been frequenting Dake for the all-you-can-eat. I would have given it 4 stars but I was just there last week for a late lunch with a colleague and oh my God, the spicy red sauce on the spicy tuna was so good we couldn’t get enough. We were mopping the plate with random maki so as not to waste its spicy sesame goodness. The quality has come back up to my expectations and I will be back for a spicy fix soon. They offer all-you-can-eat as well as a full menu.
