Our hot water tank stopped working and I needed a new thermocouple to get it back in working order so we can do dishes and shower. I thought it would be a quick in and out with some help from the staff but boy was I wrong. I couldn’t find anyone to help me in regards to what I was looking for but a fellow who was on one of those high step ladders directed me to the appropriate aisle and where the product was specifically. Kudos to him!!! The part came in two sizes being 24 and 30 inch and I had to look around to find someone who would be able to help. There was a guy in the plumbing area but he already had two pain in the ass customers he was helping so I walked around that department with my daughter for about 15 minutes until I finally flagged someone down. Sadly the guy I asked said the worked in the paint department, said he was going on his lunch break, and then walked away. Thanks for nothing!!! With that being an epic failure I proceeded to the customer service desk to see if they knew anything about the correct size and if they can look up the model and serial number in the computer. Instead of assisting me with my question the girl who was helping me pretty much told me that I should just buy a new hot water tank because mine is old and outdated and I can get one from them with a rebate for $ 300 providing it is installed by them. Using my logic I thought $ 10 part as opposed to a $ 300 + hot water tank? that was a no brainer. Go to Andrew Sheret plumbing wholesale instead as they have actual experienced tradespeople there as to some sale lady trying to upsell you something you don’t need.
