Our hunt for ice cream in Acton downtown brought us to Roxy Coffee. Located in the small town of Acton, Roxy’s decoration rivals an indie café in Toronto. The interior is spacious and clean. The order area is overseen by a cute chalk board menu. There is a gas fireplace in the main seating area. There is free WIFI and a few power outlets as well. On top of coffee, tea, pastry and sandwich, Roxy sells Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream, a delicious ice cream produced in Ontario using 100% Canadian milk. I really like that there is a jug of water on the counter for people to pour on their own, free of charge. We refilled our water bottles and the lady at counter did not even fling. She was also friendly when serving us ice cream. (Big Tip: the portion of size small in cup is quite generous). For the environmental friendly folks, Roxy has a recycling section and a garbage section in the disposal bin counter. There is also a separate collection bin to collect food bank donation.

Quality of the food is amazing. Portions are not huge but just enough. Pricier than sirTim, but tastier. :) Reuben sandwich!
