A touch of paradise recently changed management… And I can promise you its the last time I’ll ever go there. I got my shellac manicure done there, it absolutely was horrible. Half of my skin was painted and the Polish was applied like a mess. The girl doing my nails was kind of offensive and really didn’t know what she was doing. I asked the owner of she was new, she said that the girl has been there since they opened. Then she responded«is there something wrong.» I said yes, she painted all of my skin. She responded«did you tell her, it’s hers to deal with.» no. Sorry, if I was the owner or manager I would definitely care about the clients concern. This is the last time… I couldn’t imagine If they did serious procedures like laser on me. Scary thought. Only good thing I have to say, is Stella who works there is awesome. Her services are amazing… But unfortunately management is horrible. They won’t last long.

Located on Westney just north of the 401 in Ajax, A Touch of Paradise is a basic spa that can fulfill all of your beauty needs. A Touch of Paradise offers everything from manis and pedis, to i-lipo and microdermabrasion. They have many service combination options, or you can come in for individual treatments. They will ask for your email address to put you on their distribution list which usually comes once a month advertising combo specials. I started going here for laser hair removal treatments, and have been back for waxing and threading services. The staff is very nice and accommodating, they offer many services, the place is clean, and the prices are fair. The staff keep up to date on their training, and often have training sessions that regular customers can be invited to in order to try their newest service offerings. They are also open later than other places in the area and are very accommodating with their appointments. Not my number one choice for a day spa as it is not the most luxurious spa that I have been too, but they do a great job at everything they do.

Use to go to this place & loved it for almost everything. So when they introduced laser hair removal I thought I was getting a deal with people I had trusted for years. Key word was«thought». Talk about a hack job. I had paid upfront for a package of 6 treatments since the owner told me this would be enough since we had similar hair types and that’s all she needed. She burned my legs on the first day(no consultation). The owner promised me it wouldn’t happen again & that they had someone else who was from a clinic so after the 2 months it took for my legs to heal(I had to buy for all the polysporin to help with the healing) I went back, because I thought I trusted them. I had 3 more sessions with the girl from the laser clinic and everything was good(not a significant difference but also no burns). Then I went in for my 5th treatment and I had the owner again. The other lady had quit the spa and the owner had been doing a lot of the other customers so I thought maybe she had gotten better and no longer needed this other girl or something. Was I ever wrong. She burnt my legs yet again. I went in to ask for my money back and she gave me a quarter of my money back. Then I had to fight for at least half, which was a struggle. Sorry but when you ruin someones legs you should have to pay for it and this includes getting shut down. My advice for anyone thinking of going for laser is DONOTGOHERE. Like seriously this was over a year ago now and I have permanent damage.
