Carline Mufflers and More

Just another rip off auto body shop. Not two weeks after we got completely $$ screwed by Meineke in Alliston (after 3 yrs of being loyal customers), my wipers stopped working so we decide to take my car to Carline since they were awarded an excellent service award by the BIA and Chamber of Commerce.
Came down to needing the wiper transmission replaced. Cost came to $ 345. This is a huge additional expense on one fixed income but it needed replacing.
Went to pick up my car and as I’m driving off their lot, I see what looks like a scratch on my front windshield. This quickly turned into a reality nightmare of a cracked windshield. Since the shop was closed, this was a Friday and they’re not open weekends, had no choice but to wait until Monday morning. Another day off work with no pay.
As I suspected, they wouldn’t take ownership of the very clear fact that the windshield was probably damaged by the mechanic who replaced the wiper transmission. Of course we were spoken to like we are idiot chicks who don’t know any better. But my gut and common sense tell me that the windshield was damaged on their end. Way too coincidental for any other explanation. Because they didn’t take responsibility on the damage, had to spend another $ 300. to get the windshield replaced and now day two with no pay.
Will not be returning to Carline. They clearly cannot be trusted.
