I came again to have a porchetta sandwich & cannoli’s. The porchetta sandwich was really dry not like the first time I had it. The flavour was still there but I did not enjoy it. On the plus side, the cannoli’s were just as delicious! They are honestly the best ones I have ever had & I don’t even like cannoli’s to begin with. However they make the ricotta filling is beyond me.

We were referred to this cozy Bakery/Deli by the lady at Meineke while we were getting an oil change done. Allston, BTW, is an AWESOME town with great people and great food. New review coming your way on Spring Basil, also in Alliston. We stopped by after our car was done. W O W!!! The place is very small but has delish baked goods, fresh home-baked breads(the butter tarts are literally to die for!) and a hot deli counter. As we waited in line, I watched with happy amazement how Rose(a.k.a. #8 in the line of Rocco’s sisters) was the main entertainment with her vivacious, exhuberant, down-to-earth personality. She treated everyone, including us(a gay married couple) like we were the most beautiful people in the world. When it was our turn, my partner told Rose to go ahead and make whatever sandwich was her own personal favourite. Rose was so touched by this and was in her glory as she stuck a few pieces of fresh roasted porchetta in our hands to try so that was what she made us. The porchetta sandwiches are unbelievable. Rose added some of their own sauteed chipollini onions, home-made peppers and home-cooked marinara sauce to the sandwiches… amazing. What an eating experience! Thanks Rose(and Stephanie)…we are happy to be a part of your«family» now.
