OK, after a long day of sales calls I didn’t feel like a big dinner meeting so I stopped here on the way back to my hotel.
These restuarants are all over Canada in almost every city. This is a family type restaurant, with a full service bar, I had never been here and I was thinking salad and chicken… well…
My plans changed…
Food:
Chicken Sandwich — Fresh seasoned rotisserie chicken slices on two slices of bread, smothered in a very sweet chicken gravy with home style fries — 4 Stars
OK, so this is not exactly a light dinner and now I can feel my arteries closing, but I wasn’t in the mood for a three course gourmet dinner.
Dessert:
No Way… No room, gravy took all the spaces…
Drink: Draft of Canadian — Can’t rate an ice cold domestic beer.
Service: Very good, timely and friendly — 3.5 Stars
After the meal I walked it off at a local gear head car show. Many classic cars and their owners. Canada seems to like their cars as much as we Detroiters.
