My invitation to dine came with one minor stipulation: first, a visit to Golf Town. What do I know about golf other than it requires a sizeable trust fund? This large store, neatly organized with punchy coloured golf attire and row upon row of gleaming clubs appears to be a mecca for those so inclined and obsessed with the game. Did you know Golf Town associates are specialists in their field? Must be so, because the sales associate who assisted me and my «date» spoke an entire language that I couldn’t understand. Clearly, this place is a golfer’s paradise.
