History

Established in 1948.

Irvine Robinson Interiors was originally founded by long time owner Jack Irvine. Jack’s journey began in a hardware store where he was granted the opportunity to sell sheers. To expand his services, Jack decided to branch out on his own and open his first location in Leaside Toronto. A few years later, Jack decided to move the company to a larger location in Downsview, Toronto, where for many years Irvine Robinson Interiors operated as an interior design firm and furniture manufacturer.

Eventually the focus shifted and Irvine Robinson Interiors started carrying product from various suppliers. In 1993 Jack’s son and current owner Doug Irvine decided to move the company north to Aurora, Ontario to introduce a more personable experience for clients, and to showcase product from our suppliers.
