At Dr. Adam McLeod’s we have the experienced staff that will take the

time to answer all of your questions. Whether you are coming in for a routine eye exam or

special services such as, vision therapy, emergency eye care &

pediatric care, we are here to address all of your eye care needs. We are

here to help you along the way and answer any questions you may have. We also have a large selection of both prescription and non-​prescription eye wear and sunglasses to fit any budget. If you are a contact lens wearer, we also fit and dispense all major contact lens brands.

New patients are always welcome at our office, and we happily direct bill for most of the major insurance companies.

all of the necessary treatment and assistance for all your eye care needs.

Meet the Business Owner

Adam M.

Business Owner

Dr. McLeod was born and raised in St. Catharines Ontario. He completed his Honours in Biomedical Science (2003 – 2007) at the University of Waterloo, then his Doctorate in Optometry at the University of Waterloo (2007 – 2011). Dr. McLeod grew up working in the optometric field for over a decade before completing his doctorate. He moved to Barrie in 2011.

Dr. McLeod worked with Ophthalmologists at the Pinellas Park Eye Associates Group in Tampa, Florida as part of his externship. During this time he worked very closely with a retinal specialist, specializing in vitreoretinal disorders. Dr. McLeod has a keen interest in pediatric care and vision therapy and is TPA certified.

Dr. McLeod is a proud member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists as well as the Barrie Kempenfelt Rotary Club. In his spare time he loves spending time with friends, family, and dog Ruty. Dr. McLeod is an avid golfer, and enjoys mountain biking on the beautiful terrain in Barrie.
