Went to this restaurant and been there a couple of times before and not so bad. this time it took the cake. Went in for a few drinks and appetizers and probably dinner. We noticed it was busy, since its the holiday season. We asked the bartender if it was a private party. She said no and we could sit. Wrong! It was loud and busy, and then after we ordered we were told to sit in the corner by the exit and stairs. We asked the waitress if we could finish eating and our drinks, only to find out another party was coming in, after the first party. Not how you treat your customers! You knew you were having a party and told us to spend our money anyway, without the ambiance and descent service. No one wants to sit in a corner and listen to LOUD people screaming while your eating. I would not recommend this to anyone, xmas party or no party. Food sucked, and was cold, and we got the cold shoulder.
Don’t go there, save your money and go downtown

Great place for small group, ambience is nice and comfortable. The waitress let us carry on our conversation as long as we want after dinner, it was nice to get together with old friends and catch up on news.
Will come back again if I get a chance. I gave four stars because there is no view from this small restaurant, the beautiful lake is only couple blocks away.

Really outstanding. Best in Barrie.
Shrimp wi avacado. Veal carappacio. Everything well presented. Greet Kobe burger. Good but at times pressured or intrusive service. Reasonable wine list.
