History

Established in 1999.

Stubb Safe & Vault was founded in 1999, after the owner of the business I worked for retired. The business (Mayday Lock & Safe) was purchased, the name was changed to Stubb Safe & Vault and we moved our primary focus away from generalized locksmithing to the safe & vault industry.

We still strive to provide that focus to this day. We don’t claim to do everything, but what we do, we do well!

I am the owner/​operator of Stubb Safe & Vault, located in the Toronto area, Ontario — Canada.

I have been a locksmith since 1986, but changed the primary focus of my business to the Safe & Vault industry in 1999, shortly after achieving the designation of Certified Master Safecracker (CMS) from the National Safeman’s Organization (NSO).

My business involves the opening, service and repair of most safes — fire safes, commercial burglary safes, gun safes, ATM/CDU’s, depository safes, record vaults, high security safes and bank vaults.

I provide service, primarily for the banking and commercial industry and specialize in hard-​to-​open safes. I am factory trained by LaGard Inc., the leader in electronic safe locks, and stock most of their product line for quick replacement when needed.

I primarily work in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), but have tools, will travel!
