Crepe & Shake Cafe

The Crêpe & Shake is a cute little seasonal café that serves crepes and shakes (as well as other drinks and ice cream). It’s located on a residential street, and is actually located at someone’s house. You go up to the side of the garage to place your order (there’s a sliding window).
They have several different types of crepes, both savoury and sweet. I got the Thomas Crêpe, which had nutella (yum) and strawberries. It was pretty hot outside and in retrospect a warm, freshly made crêpe in +30C weather probably wasn’t the wisest decision (they have Foothills ice cream too), but the crêpe was delicious. Being slightly lactose intolerant I didn’t want to have a shake with my crêpe, so I just got a pop.
The crêpe was yummy and the price was decent (about $ 6). This was a nice dessert/​snack, but I’d love to come back and try one of the savoury crepes for lunch.
The Crêpe & Shake is a seasonal restaurant (only open from May to October Tuesday-​Saturday and there hours vary depending on the weather — best to check their website
). There isn’t indoor seating, it’s all outside, but there’s some seating under a gazebo. If it’s rainy or cool you might want to bring an umbrella/​jacket or get your crêpe to go.

Crêpe and shake Café is Beaumont’s best kept secret for a seasonal, outdoor café. (May-​Oct) Crepes are their specialty, but many families stop by for ice cream, shakes, lattes etc. Dessert crepes with seasonal fruit are my favourite. Cheery staff, large&lovely garden seating, family friendly. A great country drive destination! Call ahead for hours.

Amazing little ice cream shop! Definitely worth the short drive into the quaint little town of Beaumont to satisfy your cravings! Skip the overpriced franchises and mass-​produced, bland, questionable ingredients and head out to the Crêpe and Shake, which features Alberta-​made Foothills Creamery ice cream, fresh seasonal fruit, great service and an amazing outdoor dining experience! Very kid friendly and a great place to hang out on these hot summer nights.

This is like the hidden gem of Beaumont. Open in the summer, she makes shakes and crepes out of her built in kitchen in what was a garage.
Organic eggs and fruit, seats outside. It reminds me of something you would have seen at a drive in movie. The food is delicious, crepes are huge! Love this place!
