Cascades Day Spa

Love Cascades, it’s my slice of happiness amongst the commotion of everyday life. Kathy gives the absolute best massage and truly knows what she is doing. For an amazing pedicure or manicure go see Amy she is a magician. All my stress melts away when I enter the doors to the spa. Highly recommend it to everyone.

For me, a spa is often less about the services and more about the feeling it invokes. And that’s what makes Cascades really special. As soon as you walk in you feel like you’re one of the family. You can tell that the staff here feel comfortable and they pass that comfort onto their guests. In my opinion, that’s critical. I’m usually running into the spa late from another meeting and feeling hectic. But the staff and environment at Cascades immediately help me to feel grounded and find that spa-​like zen you hope to find at the spa. Cascades is peaceful and beautiful and the staff there are some of the best around. Every service I’ve ever had there has been exceptional. I always leave feeling incredibly relaxed and extraordinarily well cared for. So, if you’re from Bedford (or anywhere, for that matter!), go. Heck, even writing this makes me wonder why I don’t have an appointment booked this week?!

I recently moved to Bedford and started looking for a new day spa for routine services. Cascades was the obvious choice, since it’s well-​known and in a very visible location on the Bedford Highway.
I’ve been to the spa for a number of different services, and have been mildly dissapointed each time. The waiting room is not comfortable (sort of a hallway with leatherette benches), I’ve felt rushed (not a great feeling in a spa environment), and the whole space just feels a bit… tired. On top of that, I’ve had an okay pedicure, a good eyebrow wax, and a REALLY bad and uncomfortable bikini wax.
The staff at the front desk are chilly, and on the whole, the place needs a facelift.
There are much better spas out there charging less for the same services.

Great service in a relaxed environment. Excellent massage from a courtous well trained profesional. Everything you want in a spa. Tops in Haliffax.

My favourite spot in the world! I love the spa. What a great way to remove stress and let someone else pamper you.
I have never been to this particular spa but I had to stop in to pick up my boss a gift card. The staff was so helpful and nice. The place is beautiful and relaxing. I will definitely go when I find the time to go.
They are pricey but that is to be expected since they are one of the nicest spas in Metro. I will say that the parking is terrible. Just be prepared.
