This location is a perfect stop along the 401 going East. It’s not as busy as the regular service centers, but still very close to the 401. Although there was a tempting Mama burger special on, I went for the veggie burger that comes served on a whole wheat bun. I know, I know, not what you go to A&W for… but it was still good. The bar for a good fast food veggie burger is from Harvey’s. My friend had the mama burger and it was very good — exactly what you should go to A&W for! Other options include: Whistle dog, chicken nuggets and chicken burger. Their fries were also just okay — maybe just not salty enough? At least one star goes towards the giant mug of root beer that comes served with no ice! Maybe even 2.
