Ballantyne and Associates facilitate organizational development or change, including re-​visioning, strategic planning, and creative problem-​solving. We have extensive knowledge of non-​profit governance and management, themed attractions, environmental organizations, and planetariums. Principal, Robert Ballantyne, has received advanced training by author John Carver to facilitate all processes associated with the implementation of Policy Governance®.

History

Established in 1989.

Robert Ballantyne produced planetarium shows in Montréal, Toronto, and Winnipeg and directed the Manitoba Planetarium for a decade. He has been a museum director, the Interim CEO of the Marmot Recovery Foundation and executive director of the Vancouver Hotel Association. As a volunteer he has also led the boards of a number of large non-​profit organizations. In 1989 he moved his family to Bowen Island in North America’s most southerly fjord (near Vancouver, BC) and set up Ballantyne & Associates.
