I have taken my dog here several times he enjoys it a lot. There are lots of small dogs that come here which is great(I usually go friday evenings). If it rains or snows, i don’t recommend it unless you are prepared to have a muddy pup! Everyone is very friendly(and usually) look after their dog. If you are a first timer bring some poop bags and water, if not im sure the other pet owners have some to spare. :) Also if you are coming north from the 410 prepare to make a U-turn since there is an island separating the roads.

This review is on the dog park only, not on the baseball field or trail. This is a pretty large dog park but there is absolutely nothing interesting here for the dogs. They used to have some agility equipment but it was taken away due to people letting their kids play on it. It’s mostly just a fenced in dirt area that turns into a mud pit when it’s wet.(in the summer there is some grass) I really wish they would cover this place in wood chips or something to help with all the mud, especially since the middle area is down a hill so of course all the water runs down stream. I find a lot of the dogs at this park are aggressive, I’m not sure why it’s more common at this park… But there is an obvious difference. We actually left last week early because someone brought in a dog that is legally a «dangerous dog» it had the huge stop sign tag on and everything. This dog wasn’t allowed to be here and it was going after my puppy quite a bit. Usually if the dog has a tag like that it has bitten someone so we left. No offence on the breed as my puppy was also a german shepherd, but c’mon don’t bring it to the dog park. The people are friendly enough here, occasionally cliquey but nothing out of the ordinary. We will go here when we’re low on gas and not willing to go to Toto in Mississauga but it’s really not because it’s a nice park. It really could be a good park if there were more enforcement and they added stuff to the park though. Bring back the agility equipment!

One of the two neighbourhood leash free parks in North Brampton. This park differs from most as it has a city maintained Gazebo that you can sit and watch your dog as they run leash free. The park has no real flat spots other than the segreated small dog area to the left of the main entrance. Most of the park has a mixture of grass, rocks and mud. dirt and mud(on rainy days). Not my favorite park in the area, as there are a number of dog owners who frequent the park who have dogs that are overly excitable or aggressive. Keep your eyes on your pet as these owners do not watch theirs. The park has running water and a dedicated trash area. I find that if you go up the hill and sit near the 4 stones up top, its easier to watch your pets and less of the irresponsible dog owners hang out up there. If you looking for a quick place to take the puppy. this is fine. but if your looking for a nicer place. try White Spruce Park. Remember be responsible dog owner! keep an eye on your children pick up after your dog, enjoy the park!
