I like this smaller theater. Easy access to the 410 at Steeles (SW)
The place is a bit out dated. Has a small arcades area and 9 – 10 theaters.
Lot’s of parking.

5 stars may seem a bit over the top. However, I love this location since they have cheaper prices than virtually anywhere ($ 9.99 for an adult ticket). On top of that, showings are rarely sold out.
One may suspect that it’s some old theatre or something, but it’s not the case. It is somewhat smaller and a more basic concession; however it’s still has modern screens, sound systems and with reclining chairs. They don’t have IMAX or the other specialty formats, but I can live with that and spending $ 17 on a movie ticket is not my scene. I can’t quite figure out why seemingly many people overlook this place, but it’s to my advantage ultimately.

Not the most active theatre, which makes it a joy to come here. I hate packed theaters.

Not only is it close to home for me, but also close to a bunch of restaurants like Casey’s, Boston pizza, Tim Horton’s. They have cheap Tuesday movies, and in general cheaper tickets than the other theaters around. The size of this theater is not as big as others, but once the movie begins you will forget about that anyway. However this theater does get packed quickly and it becomes a little hard to find parking sometimes, but overall I think for a casual movie night with a buddy, its a place you can go for a cheaper movie.

I am a frequent customer at this movie theater because it is relatively cheaper to other theatres. I can actually afford to watch movies as they come out! Downside is the theatre is smaller and it’s really hard to find parking. Entering and exiting the location is a pain. =(

I Frequent this Theatre only due to its close location to me, the Larger Theatre 1 Smells like Garbage in the summertime.
If your strapped for cash and need to see a movie this place is cheaper than the other theaters, but you will quickly realize why.

If there has to be only one reason to come here, it is because of the lower price compared to other theatres to watch the same movie. That is it.
The theatre itself is not as large as the other Silvercities or Colosseums, but once the movie begins, you tend to get absorbed into the movie rather quickly that you forget the big sound and big screen is not present.
The one major downside is the bottleneck getting into the theatre. The location isn’t the best coming from Steeles, then to Biscayne, and sure enough the plaza isn’t planned out for the type of volume you get when a movie is finished. Do yourself a favour and just park closer to Costco, and enjoy the nice walk to and from the theatre, and exit the plaza through the Costco route.

$ 8.50 for a movie compared to $ 12.75 downtown. You would think as someone that lives in Brampton, I would watch more movies here than pay the higher prices in Toronto. I did too, but apart from the cheap prices ($ 5 on Tuesdays) and the proximity to Applebee’s and Casey’s for a very easy dinner and movie night, this location does not appeal to the movie watcher in me.
The smaller auditorium I had my screening in, just seemed to be arranged in a very inconvenient fashion with almost all the seats being too close to the screen and digital projections are yet to arrive here (it might be there for the bigger screens), so the quality was not as good as it could be.
The crowd this attracts are some of my least favourite. People that come to socialize, pulling out their phones or chatting away. I find it a stretch to believe that someone wanting to truly enjoy the movie watching experience would rank this theatre high.
The staff have always been friendly and concession pricing is the same as downtown. But as a frequent movie goer, I would prefer the quieter and more respectful (for the most part) crowds of downtown along with the better quality of movie.
