I read their blogs and checked their site and pictures… thought I would give this place a try… I called to make an appointment and was told by the owner Sommer the closest location to me (Brampton) is fully booked until February and there’s a wait list… when I said can you please put me on the wait list so in February I can go to the Brampton location until then I’ll go to the Toronto location… I was then told it could be even longer than February and perhaps never! Seems shady… I then tried to make an appointment none of the appointments I wanted were available… which is fine considering it’s almost Christmas time… Sommer answered the phone and throughout the call I was told numerous times that if it wasn’t working I should find something closer or somewhere else… I was told this atleast 4 – 5 times in a 10 min call! Doesn’t seem like this place wants my business she was very arrogant and proceeded to explain how they were the best and most busy lash studio and so on… I explained to her that even though I would have to drive all the way to the Toronto location and it’s far for me that if the work was good then it’s worth the drive… but for her to keep saying I should find somewhere else was very rude! At first she also said she guarantees the work… then when I asked her about that again she said «well I can’t guarantee anymore because the location is far for you and you had trouble getting an appointment on the phone» ummm what? I thought it was a guarantee for the service not these details… not a very good first impression at all and working in a business myself which is solely based on how you treat your clients… I am appaled at how I was continuously told to find somewhere else just because an appointment didn’t work! I was told I would get a call back to move up my appointment but still no call. It’s too bad because I would’ve been a long time customer otherwise since I’m a lash junkie.

LACK/​BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE: I regret to post this review but I feel I have to. I’m a true lover of lash extensions, I had mine done hundreds of times and I dont even care how expensive they are as long as the product and the service is good.
I’ve never tried Flirt Lashes before but reading the blog and seeing their website made me decide to give them a try, why not right?
I made my reservations for Thurs, Aug 27 before the end of July … trust me I know how these places get booked fast. Anyhow, I called them (toll-​free#) on Tues, Aug 25 asked if they can move my appointment to Wed or Fri night (same time as my Thurs appt). I decided to call them again Wed morning and spoke to the owner (same person that took my reservation in July!) and was appalled to hear my Thurs reservation has been completely cancelled! Yes, it was completely cancelled, not rescheduled — without a call from them whatsoever!
Flirt Lash, you’ve lost a potentially great customer. Sadly, I’ll never recommend you to anyone because of this experience.

UPDATE: Because she uses single lashes, as they slowly fall off (with the regrowth of your natural eye lash), you don’t get huge massive clumps of lashes missing. You barely notice when they gradually fall off! THANK GOD for that, as it really helps keep the maintenance easier, than the strips of lashes I’ve had in the past which are a nightmare to maintain.

Fake eye lashes are fake eye lashes, right?
Well, no …
Sommer has a touch, like no other.
(and i’m not just sayin’ that)
I was delighted at how quickly and efficiently she applied each and every little eye lash to my squinty little eyes.
She had completed a full set of individual eye lashes in under 2 hours — that also includes the part where my eyes wouldn’t stay closed (that’s more of a me issue!)
Plus, our time together flew by, as she’s awesome to just chat with.
She’s also got the patience & skills of a ninja.
She impressed me beyond belief, with her explanation of keeping all of her supplies and work area immaculate.
This is a big deal for me, as a contact lens wearer, I’m fully aware of the risks of contamination (& the high risk for eye infections) especially when dealing with something like eye lashes.
I had warned her, that past eyelash experiences had been less-​than-​perfect (getting glue and whatnot in my eyes, causing them to water like a mofo) but with her, I didn’t experience any of this.
These are definitely in the category of ‘above and beyond’ girl maintenance, but it makes such a huge difference for us low maintenance girls who dread putting on make up. Having these lashes make me look awake and put together.
I do admit, this is one of those above and beyond beauty extras, but it’s definitely worth the extra $$ to get it done properly and professionally. You don’t have to worry about Sommer making you look like a drag queen (of course, unless that’s the look you’re requesting!).
