The sitting area is nice and this is the main reason why I come here to enjoy my coffee…

I love this particular Starbucks solely for the staff who work there. The staff here still remembers that I’m paying $ 5+ for a latte and they always make sure it is correct!

Great location. I love starbucks for their soy options. I’ve never seen it crazy packed and the café is spacious. It was winter when I went and i ordered my usual: the caramel macchiato.

Hey, you know. It’s Starbucks. I’m not going to get into food and drink quality, because they’re fine. I get exactly what I expect, which is a good thing, because it’s a brand. I like the staff. They’re friendly and since I occasionally go there to work or meet clients, they have warmed up a bit getting to know me better. The one time they messed up my order, it was rapidly replaced and I was also given a free drink later. I know they kind of have to, but I appreciate when it’s done with friendliness and genuine care for me as a customer. Love the historical building, too. Old beams and stone and brick. Lovely. :) Patio is nice in warm weather, too. Or it *looks* nice. Too many bees for me. Normal people enjoy it though. I, uhm, have a bee issue. ;)

Much like my suburban Unilocal sista — Jennifer K, I headed into Brampton downtown seeking an indie-ish coffee shop, you know the type that boasts great music, a rustic design motif and an array of nerdy coffee options only surpassed by the number of posters advertising local art shows and open mic nights… alas, that was not to be, all I could find was this starbucks But I have to give it some cred, it did check at least a couple of my coffee shop boxes during my brief stay. The staff and coffee performed at the usual starbucks level, there was a pretty eclectic/cool looking crowd both working here and as customers, the type of folks who I know are just waiting for that hipster coffee shop in the sky to put down roots. The winning feature of this spot was in the architecture of the building. As I spoke to staff, they informed me that all the amazing structural elements of the building(brick work, posts, indoor lamp poles, aged wooden floor — were in fact part of the original part of the building — kutos for maintaining some cool Brampton history. Draw back, this location is drafty as all hell, I actually had to leave because my feet were so col I had to seek refuge in my car(which was parked for 2 hours already out doors). Cool potential for outdoor patio space as this location sits on the downtown brampton central square. Worth checking out for sure!

I was really shocked and disappointed this morning to see a woman march right into this Starbucks location with her dog in tow. It was clearly not a service dog and it is clearly posted outside the door that only service dogs are permitted inside. Why did none of the employees inform her of this? Given this situation, I don’t feel too comfortable about returning to this location.

I though wish there is an indie coffee shop but I am still happy to see a Starbuck opens up in downtown Brampton. Right across from Coffee Culture, I do prefer Starbucks but it is more a personal choice. Barista here is friendly and cheerful, all my requests were met with a huge smile. Tons of electric outlets! The patio here is just awesome! Great location for a drink break before or after a stroll in the area.
