What a wonderful place. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It has a warm welcoming feeling to it. Tea was delicious!

If they had a few sweet treats like pastries it would have made our dessert hunt complete, but it certainly didn’t take away one ounce from the experience, the tea more than satiated my sweet tooth. I cannot praise the staff and their warm inviting manners enough.

I was disappointed with the quality of the tea which was unfortunate as the girl behind the counter was friendly, energetic and knowledgeable about the teas. At first I gave a good review when I was sitting there drinking my tea as it tasted good and the atmosphere was great. However, thinking it through when the girl opened a tin for me to smell I noticed that the tea was powder and not actual tea leaves which is strange for a premium tea purveyor. Also, a couple of hours later I had a strange after taste like I finished drinking one of those powdered protein drinks. My thoughts are that if you like the tea and are ok with this then it is a great spot as I said it has good staff and a great atmosphere. Me personally, I did not like the quality of the tea, especially at a premium so I would not frequent a T By Daniel again.

We discovered Daniel and his tea shop by chance at 8:45 PM, on the Friday evening of Brampton’s Annual Christmas Market weekend.
First, because the busy Christmas Market was situated right beside the shop, the lineup was insanely long and we waited about 35 minutes before we could even place an order, which, to be honest, we didn’t mind at all, and is a testament to the staff’s professionalism, and commitment to customer service. The crowds were constantly thanked for their patience, and snacks and small treats were distributed regularly as patrons waited to place their orders — the wait time just flew by. I really appreciated how efficiently they handled the crowds that evening.
Second, the actual tea. The Lion Chai cost $ 3.50 and was worth every penny. To me, it was rich, sweet, and with a a hint of an interesting, slightly earthy flavour. It was truly, truly delicious, and you can’t go wrong with ordering it. If you’re ever in downtown Brampton, I definitely urge you to stop by!

We were walking around dtown Brampton, and saw this place. Tried the Matcha Monster which was really good for a price of $ 5.25. Im also impressed with how the employees value customer service. Would definitely start coming back whenever I can.
Gave ⁴⁄₅ because. Few items were listed on the menu. But then saw quite a number of different flavour of teas on their shelves. They posted something on the board about the containers with bowties but it didnt clearly explained how that works. (And was kinda hesitant to ask, too because there was a huge line up behind me and I dont want to delay other people) so maybe next time…

Great prices & great tea. Lineups are a little long on the weekends, but that doesn’t bother me, because Daniel & his team show an interest in every customer that walks in and makes you feel welcome.
They now have a loyalt-​T card that earns you points/​dollars towards a free tea — great perk & incentive for customers to come back.
My boyfriend and I love stopping by here on the weekends to have a great cup of tea and walk around downtown Brampton.

When me and my sister entered this shop, we were very excited! We were greeted by 2 friendly girls who were very knowledgeable and sweet! They even wrote a cute positive message on our cups. However our visit took a sour turn when we decided to drink our tea on the patio at the back. We had purchased a tarot card set earlier that day and had laid out our cards on the table to do a reading on each other while sipping our teas. The owners sister came out and told us to put our cards away as it was not acceptable on their property. This saddened me as we were just learning and having fun. Moreover, it is a spiritual practice for some and made me angry that ppl do not have the right to express themselves freely here. When we addressed this situation with the co-​owner (who is very friendly) she defended the lady’s actions but apologized that she made us feel bad. She also added that this is a spiritual neutral place– so u can’t express ur spiritual beliefs here. So only come here if u want to avoid deep spiritual discussions that one would typically have in a café.

Daniel and their staff are so passionate about tea and providing each customer with a unique experience which focuses on their tea preferences. I ordered their chai lion and their iced aladin’s princess tea. Both were delicious and I love their non dairy options which still taste delicious in iced and frappé drinks. Their prices are so reasonable. $ 5 for blended drinks and $ 3 approximately for their iced teas. Their sizes are larger than Davids Tea. Come and visit! You won’t regret their warm atmosphere and demeanour. This is demonstrated when they give you your drink and create an awesome nickname for you. I am now such a big fan that I have signed on to their loyalty program :)

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Super-​friendly atmosphere does more than the caffeine to perk me up.
If you go on a summer Saturday morning (farmers’ market), you may see Daniel in costume! They’re a little busier when the market is on.
If you like chai, get the Lion Chai.

Cute little café in downtown Brampton. Daniel is an amazing entrepreneur, so much fun! Visited there on my daughters birthday and she got a free tea.

T By Daniel, why can’t you be in #Mississauga, #CityCentre to be specific? Instead, this really cute tea place is located in the theatre district of downtown Brampton.
Parking sitch: Street or free parking at B-town’s Civic Centre, after hours/​on weekends.
I think what really made my experience a good one was the barista/​salesguy as pictured in Sarah B’s last photo. This guy was soo friendly and passionate about explaining the different teas! Dude even gave us free cookies as it was almost the end of the day. :) Really sweet, nice, and welcoming… especially when he finds out that you’re a first-​timer!
I ordered the frozen version of the Lion Chai which was like an Ice Cap. It comes in 1 size and was $ 5! Not bad value at all and taste was really good. Large, soft cookies were priced at $ 1.25, so price points are good when comparing to other tea/​coffee places.
I’d definitely come back again, too bad this place is sorta far away!

A great spot to get a hot or cold tea in downtown Brampton. We came here on Saturday (in July) during the farmers market and got their famous lion chai which is «made with love» they say. Truly delicious and love that they are dairy free (due to the coconut). Definitely not your average tea.

Daniel mixes amazing teas: we used to buy them when he was just selling them in pouches at the Farmer’s market. The storefront is small but always buzzing; the staff has a great sense of humour, the teas are great, and the Lion Chai is nectar from the gods.

This place is such a gem, the staff are so spunky and amazing! They are pretty unique with their bowtie system (different colored ties for the different teas) and they offer more than just their loose leaf tea. I had the roaring chai, which is a spicy chai latte kind of deal that also happens to be dairy free, I believe there is only one size which looks about the same size as a grande at Starbucks, this will cost you about three dollars which really is a bargain!
The whole place is very cute and friendly, also every first time customer gets a free cookie! Yum!

Have only been into the place a few times but I am happy to say that every time I do go in I get very good service. The staff are warm and friendly. The tea is always excellent whether you have it hot or iced. My favourite tea to have when I come here is the Dr. Breath. I also love having my name written on my cup. I asked the lady to write Tinkerbell on my cup one time because she is my favourite and she did it for me no problem. That was very cool. So if you are a tea lover and are in the downtown area, go and see the lovely people at T By Daniel… you won’t be disappointed!

These guys make tea cool, but not in a pretentious way like other tea shops! Such a great variety, yet organized selection of tea. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a great place if you need to destress for a few minutes in between a tough day in a healthy manner haha. Lion Chai and Night in Rio are my Go– Tos everytime! The pumpkin Puff Daddys go great with the Lion Chai.

Like others, I should’ve written this review long ago because I’ve enjoyed them for sometime. Very friendly and knowledgable staff, great atmosphere, and most importantly: great tea. I’m typically a coffee guy, but the Lion Tea packs a big punch, and great flavour. I also went in there when I had an upset stomach that had been bothering me for a couple days, and they provided a Rooibos tea that really helped.
T By Daniel personifies exactly what downtown Brampton needs and will hopefully remain as a model and cornerstone for great, unique businesses in the area.

I am at T by Daniel weekly – sometimes more often than that. Daniel has created a welcoming, friendly, fun atmosphere and knows all there is to know about tea. Not only that, he’s trained his staff to be as cool and knowledgeable as he is, so even when he and his wife are not around, the service is still as I would expect.
The tea variety is staggering, but never overwhelming. The categories are broken down in easy-​to-​understand ways, and the staff are always up for letting you get a whiff of the fragrant dry tea.
Then there’s the Lion products. Oh, Lion. There is Lion Chai, Green Lion, and Arctic (Frozen) Lion varieties, too. If you’re a coffee drinker normally, or not sure where to start, get one of these. They are sweetened and creamy and dairy & gluten-​free (I only know this because I was with someone who asked once). The creaminess comes from coconut instead of dairy. And creamy and rich they are! I happen to like the Green Lion best because it’s just a touch less sweet than the regular Lion.
One other great thing they’ve done is add a fireplace to the back room. Last winter it got quite chilly in there, and this helps.
All in all, a great spot. I hope you’ll check it out!

I ordered an oolong tea which was a bit too strong for me.
It was called «My Workout Partner» which I took as a sign because I love oolong and I love working out (it’s the little things).
I’m excited to try the other teas they have here. Maybe venture out and try something that isn’t oolong.

Daniel is soo amazing and friendly that you want to become best friends with the guy, and the team at T by Daniels is honestly so friggin cool. The customer service is hands down the best.
They have a variety of different flavours of Tea, so whether you drink it hot, cold, or iced, (I’ve tried all three types), you won’t be disappointed. There is a type of Tea out there for everyone!
If you feel the need to support local businesses, this is the place for you. If you like Tea, this is the place for you. If you want to change up your coffee game and try something new and different, this is the place for you. If you just wanna hang out, chill, and meet new people, this is the place for you.
This place is Hilarious. The people who work here are funny, the names of the Teas are funny, and I love the quirky names they write down on your cups. Plus, talk about Style! The cups have bow ties on them! Bow ties!!! So adorable, it’s their signature look, and it’s awesome.
Like I Said, this place rocks. I’ve got their loyalty card, so you know that I’ll be back.

Such a popular little tea room in old Brampton, I’m reviewing mainly because I’m a little disappointed than none of the faithful to groupies have reviewed as yet. Just go. Whatever you enjoy drinking hot or cold, Daniel has a blend that will satisfy your tastes. I first sampled and purchased the «cottage nights» loose leaf blend at the farmer’s market and enjoyed it as a treat throughout the winter. Now that they’ve opened a storefront café, I have been enjoying iced versions of orange creamsicle, night in Rio… And of course every incarnation of their wildly popular, creamy answer to the ice capp… THE ARCTIC Lion.
Owned and operated by a super cute young couple and staffed by a trusty team of fam and friends, you will enjoy the playful banter, über cute bowtie branding, local art on display, basic selection of yummies supplied by nearby Dolcezza Bakery, crazy cheap price point… and most of all the feel-​like-​only-​one-​in-​the-​room all star service. (How’s that for a run on sentence?)
Make sure you get a loyalty card. I’m pretty sure you’ll want to come back!
