Maria’s Pizza

I haven’t lived in Brantford for long, but my colleagues have said numerous times that Maria’s Pizza is the best pizza place in Brantford. We ordered some for an office gathering about a year ago and I liked it, so I decided to order for myself this past weekend. We had a medium with onion, green pepper, mushroom, and bacon. The crust and sauce were awesome and there was a TON of topics! Problem is, they apparently use canned mushrooms (which are disgusting) instead of fresh. :(I love mushrooms (when they are fresh) and never get pizza without them. This was the first time I’ve ever heard of a pizza place using canned mushrooms… However, even after picking them off, there was still the canned after-​taste throughout the pizza.
I may order from them again as the sauce and crust were amazing, but I will not order mushrooms again, even though they are one of my favourite toppings.

Excellent pizza. Lots of toppings, well cooked and delivered hot.
I had a large with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, olives, and extra cheese. This combination becomes a bit greasy; I’d probably drop the bacon or extra cheese next time.
