Terrific café in the heart of Burlington. They have fresh homemade meals, no preservatives. Atmosphere is cute and cozy. Highly recommend the chicken wraps and lentil salad. They have excellent fruit frozen yogurt. A nice break from the typical food chains around.

While visiting Burlington, Ontario on vacation last week, we stopped by the Picadilly Café for lunch with our family. It’s a cute little café, with a comfy interior and a few outdoor café tables. All of the food is made on site daily with no preservatives by the owners, a sweet, Greek looking husband and wife team. We had the crab salad sandwich which included our choice of veggies piled on for toppings, and our children had a ham and cheese deli sandwich, simple, but high quality ingredients made with love. One child had a scoop of ice cream for dessert, which he highly recommends, a ‘Tiger Stripes’ flavor of orange and licorice. I had a chocolate frozen yogurt cone which was very rich tasting. It was interesting — she brought out the yogurt in a solid, frozen, individually wrapped brick that was pressed into a soft consistency and dispensed by a neat machine into my cone. It tasted very fresh. Family with us tried the eggplant pizza, which they also said was very good. The café offers many tempting looking, home made side salads and they had a no crust quiche that looked amazing. The prices are high, but you get what you pay for — very high quality, tasty, fresh, and healthy food. If we lived close by, I would be back.
