Plough & Harrow the Space

I stopped in here last night with my bf before softball. We had a couple of hours to kill so I was looking for a pub to have a pint and something to eat before the game.
I’m kinda not surprised that no one has reviewed this place, but in a way I am as well. It’s your typical neighbourhood pub, but I drove past it twice before google mapping the address on my phone. You would miss it if you weren’t looking for it.
I grabbed a cider (Magners in a can) and sat down. The bartender, probably the owner was so friendly. Every person that came in after me, knew everyone else there by name. Patting each other on the back with a friendly handshake. It was really nice to see. It felt like I was in Cheers.
The interior is classic pub. Black leather chairs with brown tables. The menu looks like it hasn’t changed in 10 years, along with the prices. VERY reasonable. Classic pub fare, but I bet everything is great.
They have 50 cent wings Monday through Wednesday. We ordered 20 wings, franks hot and butter, and jabaroo (I believe that was it) which is lime, fresh garlic and pepper. DELICIOUS. They will make them anyway you want, but we asked for lightly dusted. They were average size wings, beautifully meaty, not greasy and HOT (temperature). We gobbled them up.
We will continue to hit this pub up when in the area. It’s a lovely little place, nice atmosphere, cozy and you feel quite at home when you walk in.
Cheers to the bartenders which I think were the owners. Both ladies were sweet and friendly and welcomed us back.
