Where History Comes to Life. Visitors have a unique, fun and engaging experience as they explore our open-​air museum set in the 1920s. Costumed towns-​folk chat to visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, shops & businesses. Rides on 1912 CW Parker Carousel are amazing and the restored Interurban Tram is elegant. Amenities include a restaurant, gift shop & picnic tables. 2014 Gate Admission is free and Carousel rides $ 2.50 each. Free bus and car parking. Open seasonally.

History

Established in 1971.

Heritage Village, as Burnaby Village Museum was originally called, was planned by the Burnaby Centennial Committee as one of several initiatives to commemorate the BC Centennial.
