Dropped off a vacuum cleaner for repair. Parking is available on the street. The shop seems to be run by a single guy, so service is a bit slower if he’s in the middle of something. Being less than a block from a direct competitor(Aerus), how does this place stack up? Good: Pricing is generally more competitive, though this place does use cheaper-looking parts. Quality seems okay though. Bad: Place is WAY more cluttered — it feels like you’re in some hoarder’s basement. Parts selection(based on my 1-time experience) is more limited, and wait times for ordering parts is longer. As you can see, the place has its ups and down. Choose between time and money.
