Great Thai food. Large portions, good prices. We go here at least a couple of times a month and find the food to be very consistent. Service is always great.

There for a business lunch, as there is a distinct lack of decent restaurants in the Edmonds area. I had the red curry lunch combo which came with hot and sour soup and a mixed veg stir fry and coconut rice(you have to ask for this). The curry lacked both flavor and heat(and very little chicken for that matter). The stir fry was tasty, but not what I would expect from a thai restaurant as it lacked spice and complexity. The hot and sour soup had good flavor. I would have given this place a 2.5 if there were an option to do so, but given that it’s probably one of the best spots to eat in that area, I went to 3 rather than 2

This place was great! Tried the Tom Yum soup, spring rolls(I prefer vegetable spring rolls but the beef was good), red Thai curry and pad Thai. All were fantastic for a Thai restaurant in the lower mainland. Will be back for sure to try more.

We tried this place because it was close to our new house. We weren’t expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. Noodles and curry were great! We’ve since ordered on a weekly basis, consistently good food. We’ve only had take out so I can’t speak for the dine in experience, but this place has become our go to Thai food place!

Why can’t they post their hours. Drove from east van all the way to Edmonds and they closed at 9 on a Friday. Terrible joke on me tonight. Nothing even remotely good nearby. Argh… Edit: they close at 930 but closed this day between 9 and 930

I came here with a friend on a weeknight for a Thai food craving and came in to an inviting little restaurant. I was quickly greeted but couldn’t be seated since the 3 empty tables had not been cleaned. The lady promptly yelled in the back for someone to clean the tables, however the lady that came out and began cleaning, began with the largest table, without any sort of tray, basically grabbing one plate at a time… about 5minutes later, she was still gradually cleaning the same table and I decided I didn’t feel like waiting for what felt like would be an eternity. So I talked to the owner and asked for takeout instead, 15 minutes later, my take out was ready, and a single table was still not clean. There were also beer bottle caps littered across the floor and dirty(mostly spilled tea) across the counter by the register. Aside from them forgetting the cutlery of the take-out order, the food tasted okay, the chicken of my red curry was overcooked and tough, but not inedible. I’d like to hope that most of what I saw was an inept server and not the restaurant as a whole, but I can’t help but judge them based on what I saw… plus the food was less than great. I think 3 stars is generous.

Welp, just add this to the list of good Thai restaurants near me. It was nice to see a familiar face when we walked in too! We had the Kra Pow and some spring rolls for a quick eat the other night and I really did enjoy the Kra Pow and it was slightly different from the style at our other go-to spot… so it’s nice for a change. Service was great, so we’ll be back — although it would be a toss up with Lhy Thai.

Great authentic Thai food with very generous portions and reasonable prices. Try the green curry chicken, pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice.

Tried their chicken noodle lunch menu. It was pretty good and quite authentic. All came to $ 9 with tax and tips. Would definitely go again

According to the restaurant’s website, the owner previously owned Siam Thai in Surrey . I’m not sure why he chose this as his new location(it was previously occupied by the original Simba’s Grill location ) as there are already two other Thai restaurants nearby(Lhy Thai Restaurant and Days Thai ). The interior of the restaurant is lovely. I’m told that it’s pretty much the same interior as the previous restaurant at this location but with Thai ornaments instead of East African ones. The décor is that of a restaurant where you can sit down and savour your meal rather than just eat and run. The menu covers have a picture of a Thai monument with cartoon tourists. I caught a glimpse of another menu and noticed that it had a different cover but with cartoon characters as well. I’m not sure how it fits into the theme of the restaurant, but, oh well. We ordered the chicken satay, spring rolls, green curry with chicken, and coconut rice. I was very impressed by the presentation of both the chicken satay and spring rolls. They were each garnished with an orange slice, carrot shavings, and a lettuce leaf. I actually considered eating it as a salad(I did end up eating the orange slice but left the lettuce and carrot shavings). The spring rolls were good; they weren’t too greasy but were heavier and more filling than I expected. The chicken satay was served with peanut sauce and cucumber relish. I’d never been served satay with cucumber relish so I wasn’t sure what to do with it. In the end, I put both the peanut sauce and cucumber relish together on my satay. Tasty! When the curry came out, it was red curry instead of the green curry we ordered. We were willing to eat it anyway, but our server went ahead and had it changed for us. I wish that there was a wee bit more chicken in the curry but I enjoyed the crunch from the bamboo shoots. The other vegetables in the curry were fresh and cooked perfectly as well. As an aside, we almost didn’t go to this restaurant based on their website. It was just… painful. I suppose I associate the appearance of a business’ website with their level of professionalism. After all, it’s how they’re presenting themselves to the mighty power that is the Internet.(Note: We were using Chrome to view the website before going to the restaurant. Before writing this review I viewed their site using IE8 and it looked better. They should still consider creating a website that displays correctly in all commonly used web browsers(IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari). I’m not sure why their website irks me as much as it does. I guess I’m a geek.) The prices are reasonable and food here tastes as good as it looks. I will be back to try more of the menu and you should too. Just don’t go to their website. EDIT: Someone asked why I would deduct stars based on a restaurant’s website. While I did mention the website in my review because it really was the reason we almost didn’t go there, my rating was primarily based on what I thought of the food and my overall experience.

We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon at 5:30pm. Decided to get an appetizer to eat there and two entrees to go. Appetizer: iTHAI WRAP = stir fried ground chicken, mango, vegetables served with fresh lettuce — $ 7.95 Ingredients tasted fresh. Delicious. Entrees: #24PANAENGGOONG = Prawns with bell peppers, ground peanut in a panaeng curry sauce in coconut milk — $ 12.95 Generous amount of prawns. Creamy and spicy, sauce was really good. #38PADEGGPLANT = Stir fried eggplant with meat, bell peppers, onion, Thai basil and spicy chilli sauce — $ 9.95 Good stuff. Service: Attentive and polite. Relatively quick(note: there were only two parties there, so can’t speak for when it’s busier). Décor/Ambiance: Quiet. Nicely renovated and clean. The king’s portrait(s) add authenticity without interfering with the overall relaxed feel. Overall, this place serves fresh and authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. Have not yet tried their lunch specials. Will return.
