We use local fresh produces, homemade soups, in store made to order fresh deli sandwiches or wraps like oven roasted beef and turkey (literally in house roasted), of course the famous Schnitzel sandwich, just to name a few. We also serve gluten free bread or wrap.

Moreover, we will work with client menu ideas and budgets without compromise the quality and service.

History

Established in 1975.

It started in the 70’s, the owner make most of the Eastern European sausages, cabbage rolls and more from scratch. In the 80’s, the second owner started the sandwich and soup because most of resident are European who work in the oil and refinery industry with Chevron, Shell and Imperial Oil company. 35 years later, Lotus café, only name changed from Rain Forest Deli still continue the tradition, in house roasted meat, smoked meat from local smoke house in Main Street.

Yes, the store is still look the same, new and old clientele, turkey and beef still roasted in the house, and still doing business in this location. The neighbour is changing rapidly, it is now more Shusi restaurant, Starbucks, Subway pop up every block and gradually losing the diversify and independent own small business charm here.
