Metrotown Mazda

We were shopping around for Mazda for my niece’s first car. Amazing experience! Was very informative, explained in details what the advantages were and the promos they had in store. We were initially at the Port Moody dealership and felt pressured to make a purchase. Too much sales pitch when we wanted to carefully think about buying it since it was a gift. At Metrotown we were greeted by Eric, such a nice guy. The process just flowed through from the purchase to signing papers dealing with the acct manager was swell. Would highly recommend this dealership.

I brought my Mazda 3 here for a general check up after being purchased off craigslist. The front desk guy was amazing, he was honest, friendly and made me feel very comfortable regarding what I would be paying at the end of my service with no suprises. I also got all the past records of work that has been done on my car for free which was a bonus. I would reccomend this place over Vancouver Mazda anyday. I have been to both and this is worth the extra drive out from Vancouver as I know I am dealing with honest people who are not going to waste my time and rip me off.

Better than Signature and Morrey. Don’t ever get your car washed here if you don’t want scratches. The boys rarely change the bucket of water and they just add more soap but it’s still. dirty. Owner needs to step-​it-​up and invest in power washers. Sometimes the lot guys do a shitty job. Dealership is too small. Your car is often parked on the street and with the new configuration of Imperial and Kingsway, it’s often a nightmare to get to this.
Because of the issues with car washing and location. I give this dealership 3.75 stars.

Everytime I come to get my car serviced, I always receive great service. They guys at the desk do their best to assist and answer any questions you may have, and if you are tight on time, they will do their best to get your service done in a quick manner without cutting back on the service.

Bought a car from Steven Yang and it was nothing but a positive and enjoyable experience. Steven was the antithesis of the car salesman cliché and was fantastic. He was low key but helpful, listened, was not pushy in any way, just felt like a normal guy who happens to be selling cars. Dare I say the entire car buying process was actually fun and enjoyable.
I also found the sales manager Gordon to be cut from the same cloth. Perhaps he’s setting the tone on the floor as he was a breeze to deal with.
There’s details I could expand on but end of the day everything from the trade in, negotiations, service and communication until the finalized sale was great. Based on my experience I have zero hesitation on recommending this dealership and the sales rep Steven Yang.

Don’t go at the end of the month sales manager is busy. Advised Mazda is so reliable but they make very poor trade in value on Mazda trade in. Test drove a 2010 Toyota Corolla and it needed to be boosted 3 times. Walked.

I bought a used car here, and the battery ran down a few days later. I heard it often happens in used cars and dealers are usually not responsible for this kind of bad luck. However, the salesman gave me instructions how to do with the car although it was a civic holiday, and in addition, they exchanged the battery for free! For me, the salesman, the manager and the servicemen I met were all very kind and reliable! I think I will be a loyal customer.

Metrotown Mazda has taken care of my MX5 for years and the last time they were amazing. They took a long time to figure out the issue with the window but figured it out and now it is as good as new!

I went to look at some used cars with my husband and had my eye on a white Mazda 3. We were greeted fairly quickly as we walked into the dealership. There were about 4 people working the floors or in their office. After telling the manager what we were looking for, he assigned on of his sales reps to us.
Now this guy was the typical used car salesman. He talked about the car, tried to upsell us and even talked about his family. That’s normal, we expected that, but what we didn’t expect was for him to start pulling out stats and info on the car out of his ass. I didn’t know any better because I’m not a huge car person, but my husband is a car fanatic. He has even fully researched the car before we stepped foot into the dealership.
My husband told me later that a lot of the information was exaggerated or straight up lies to make the car sound better. Imagine if it was someone who didn’t know that much details about cars. I found that utterly sneaky and just plain rude.
They get a ²⁄₅ since I’m not sure if we were to deal with another rep, it would have been a better experience.
