Not quite sure about the other people who reviewed saying the owner is rude. I did not think so. Maybe they are not very familiar with Eastern European culture, but this seems typical to me. Anyway, we were a little disappointed when pieorgis were not served, but had sandwiches instead. Good selection of products from Poland. Nothing was expired. Chocolates and drinks were very good.

The pierogi here are incredible. What is also incredible is how totally uninterested the owner /counter lady is in serving you, unless you are Polish. Your choice: rude/indifferent service vs. wonderful frozen take-out pierogi that boils easy & tastes like a dream. Pro tip: sauerkraut & mushroom pierogi, the best, pair with mustard.

I definitely agree with Jonathan on this. The owner? Or lady needs to learn some manners and customer service. She was quite grumpy and looked like I was being a bother although no one was even in the store. She didn’t bother even greeting me. I asked a question. Her answer was quite rude as though she wI would have bought something but her attitude made me leave. I had to say hi first. Just being in the same room as her was not a good feeling. Sad to say I don’t think I will ever try the food. I would like to one day and maybe this review will change. Seriously though the lady should get an attitude adjustment it would do wonders for her business.

First time and last time. The second I walk in, the older late 40s brunette lady says what u want? I told her i need to look at the menu. Suddenly she got a pissed look, then starts talking in polish to her friend. Literally, 5 seconds later, what u want? No one else in the store, I’m thinking seriously? I order the turkey sandwich and borsch soup. At the end, no thank you, no smile, no bye, the feeling u get like they don’t want your business because of their snide attitude that their doing u a favour. I thought of an episode from Seinfield with the soup nazi, except the sandwhich was slapped together in a few seconds and a soup that was overly salty. They had a small deli portion that looked nice, but the whole attitude turned me off. The food was nothing special, but it came out around to $ 8. U want a sandwhich, Subway is way tastier, better service, more filling, and better value. Disappointment!
