Viva Sue Pizza

Ordered a medium pizza that was more than enough for two people. The crust was done just right, on the crunchy side. The sauce was outstanding as was the pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. The salad was very fresh and plenty of it too!

Old school awesomeness! The old mom and pop style. Pour lots of toppings on, and u get full off of 2 slices. Very generous with the toppings and yummy cheese, which is why i keep coming back. This is the classic style of Canadian style pizza i grew up, and enjoyed. Thick, lots of toppings, make u full, and want to take a long nap after to digest. No Neapolitan style pizza here, but its nice to have a nice throw back to the old days. The cheese and meat ratio is right on, u won’t feel hungry once your done!

Lasagne was bland and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can.
Pizza was extremely salty and the crust was soggy.

I love this place, I work in the area and order from nats twice a week I usually get the taco pizza and the chicken parmesan sub which is amazing.

Viva Sue has been one of my favourite pizza places for over 20 years now.
They use a tonne of full flavour cheese, ample toppings, have a friendly staff, reasonable prices, and I’ve never had to wait any longer for my order than what I was told. When it’s time for me to order more than just a quick few slices, Viva Sue is one of the very few places I’ll go out of my way for.
Just go.

Viva sue has thick pizza using mozzarella and Edam cheese full cream. Not for the slim seeking. For the flavour seekers.
Even the base of their pizza is spot on.
When you get to the crust… Perfect crispy outside and soft inside.
Recommend the following
Classic ham and pineapple
Simple green pepper and cappicollo
Or the vegetarian… But add feta cheese!

I love their pizza… for some reason I love it re-​heated in the oven. I find that when it’s delivered it not as crusty crunchy as I want it. But boy oh boy, once you pop a few pieces in the toaster oven… Best Pizza Ever!

Best pizza anywhere ever!!! Great service and value, and the cheese, crust and sauce are the best quality. I love this place. Did I mention that it’s the best pizza anywhere ever?

I went to here for a pick up (a large super sue) about 10 minutes before closing. The guy who works there seemed nice and handed me my pizza. I could tell that it was fresh out of the oven and it smelled wonderful.
When I got home, I shared it with my sister and brother in law. To be honest, I think my review may be biased FOR viva sue because I’ve been living in Korea for the past 6 months. Suffice to say, I got used to really crappy pizza there so my standards for pizzas dropped significantly :(
Anyway, the first bite I took was something I’ve been dreaming since I got back home– it was real, full-​fat, delicious cheese! I think the crust was alright-​to-​good, but the toppings, cheese, and the sauce were DIVINE. My sister usually eats papa johns and little Caesars, but she says she’s going to eat here from now on.

Awesomesauce! Pizza here is amazing! I can’t say enough to about this place although there is a reason they have been a staple here in Burnaby for 30 years. This pizza is great I compare it to a lasagna, great crust, tons of toppings and s load of cheese! Will continue to go back again and again, just wish they were open longer hours.

Great quality for a good price. People working there seemed genuinely happy to be there when I talked over the phone and arrived. Picking up the pizza there was a group of elderly people sitting and talking over their meal. The guy working there told me about the free soda with pick up and I drank it on the walk home. Pizza was the Super Sue. Medium. More than enough for 2 people. Overall great experience.

The pizza here is so delicious and fresh! We really enjoyed our pick-​up pizza from Viva Sue, however our intention, after a long day in the yard, was to splurge and have pizza delivered. We were already comfortable and ready to relax but when we called to order we were advised that they do not deliver to Boundary Road (even on the burnaby side where I live!). That was disappointing! But I got in the car and decided to go pick up the pizza anyways and got two free pops with our two pizzas!
I recommend this place to those living close to the area and those who don’t mind making a quick 10 minute drive to pick up this pizza!

Very good pizza.
Good crust, lots of toppings and an excellent mix of cheeses. The pie was well cooked and the sauce was great tasting as well.
Limited menu, just pizzas and a few pasta itemsl and salads is all.
A free pop of your choice if you pick up and pay cash or interact.
Small place, 4 tables, no tv or internet (the food will make up for it).
Friendly staff.
Limited hours, they close @ 8:30 pm every evening. So get there early.
I’ll be back for sure.

Classic mom and pop shop with the best pizza in Burnaby. Love the pizza love the owners great place all round.

This place is where you would go for a traditional Italian tasting pizza. It’s a small Ma and Pa restaurant and their pizza is soooo cheesy. They only deliver if you’re near by but definitely worth a drive for pick up.

We just ate our delivery from Viva Sue, our first time ordering from them after reading their reviews on Unilocal.
We ordered an Alfredo baked pasta and a bacon & mushroom pizza, and we got six pounds of food delivered to our door within 30 minutes.
The pizza crust was amazing and the toppings were piled on, it was so delicious and hot and perfectly cooked.
The pasta had lots of cheese, and while I would have liked a bit more sauce, it was still great and flavorful.
This is our new default pizza place, I won’t bother ordering from elsewhere if Viva Sue Pizza is open.

Viva Sue Pizza is not for the thin slice pizza lovers. This place piles on the tomato sauce, cheese, meat, vegetables and more cheese. Did I mention they use 100% fat cheese here? That’s right, no half fat or dairy free cheese.
I ordered a half ham, mushroom and pineapple pizza and half ham, pepporoni and mushroom pizza. The total bill came to only $ 14.00 including tax for the medium. After polishing off 3 slices, I can barely move.
The pizza at Viva Sue isn’t something I can eat everyday since it’s quite heavy and oily, but once in a while it’s my special treat.

How did i not review this place yet!!! I love me some cheesy pizza and this place does not disappoint. I found this place while my brother in law was visiting from California, his a big foodie always looking for the best local digs. We were all craving pizza one night and he just found Viva Sue on google. I was a little embarrassed because he was visiting us and he was the one telling us where to go for pizza. But I’m glad he did. Viva sue is now our go to place for pizza. It’s delicious, cheesy, fresh and really good price! We’ve tried pepperoni mushroom, pepperoni salami, just cheese pizza (amazing). Most orders come with can pops. Recently we tried a special for 19.50 a medium pizza, baked pasta and pop! This place is always busy, the location looks pretty dated but food and service is great, and also love that it’s family owned.
