We specialize in Fresh Sandwiches and Soft Pretzels! Design your own sandwich or choose from one of our pre-designed «Twists» like the California Twist that features whipped avocado, roast turkey breast, sauteed spinach, havarti cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet onions.
Our Soft Pretzels and Pretzel Buns are baked fresh daily in-house and our sauces and dips are made from scratch in the restaurant as well. The Soft Pretzels and Sandwich buns are Vegan friendly as are many of our sauces, dips, and sandwiches.
History
Established in 2014.
Around The Bend is the brain-child of our chef Rob Low. A unique concept for the Calgary and Canadian market, Around The Bend is focused on fresh.
We offer fresh soft pretzels and fresh sandwiches on pretzel buns and our focus on fresh sets us apart from our competitors. Our doors were opened to our customers for the first time November 15, 2014 at our first location in the Deer Valley Marketplace.
The location is literally «around the bend» from everywhere else in the shopping centre and is next to the Co-op across from CIBC.

Business Owner
Rob is a classically trained French Chef and earned his diploma in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. His recipes are what bring the fresh menu to life at Around The Bend.
