This children’s eye specialist is the best ophthalmologist I have had the pleasure of dealing with and probably the best in his field in North America. I have dealt with a lot of doctors and none are as professional and knowledgeable as Dr. Astle.
He is caring, attentive, and has a great bedside manner that keeps your child at ease. It is obvious he genuinely loves what he does, and really cares about your child’s eye health and overall well being.
Your child must have some severe eye condition in order to see him so the circumstances have to be pretty bad in order to get a referral, but he truly will take great care of your kid.
My son had two surgeries performed by Dr. Astle and both times, as a parent, I felt that I could trust him with my son 100%.
We are still on the road to recovery and hope that Dr. Astle remains at the ACH, and continue to provide the same level of excellent care he has provided to us in the past. We don’t know what we would do if he had not diagnosed my son’s eye condition when he did.
A great guy all around, and a huge asset to the Children’s Hospital.
